This Unit focuses on sheet metal processing – laser/plasma cutting, Arc welding, MIG and TIG welding, sheet metal bending etc. The Unit is also equipped with 160 KVA generator, 5 ton EOT crane, 1 ton goods lift for material movement among 3 floors.

The unique feature of UNIT II is that the fabrication area is spread across three levels in a first of its kind floor design.

• The Ground Floor has facilities for processing thick sheet metals. Processing shop includes :
  1. CNC Laser Cutting Machines (2 nos.),
  2. CNC profile Cutting Machine with gas cutting and plasma cutting station (1 no.)
  3. NC Press Brakes (2 nos.),
  4. NC Shearing Machine (1 no.)
• The First Floor accommodates facilities for
  1. Finishing of all fabricated components
  2. Weld leak proof testing bay
• The Second Floor accommodates
  1. Fabrication area
  2. SS buffing area
  3. Design department
  4. Directorate
